Nitrous Oxide
(“Laughing Gas”)

MEDICATION
MILD RELAXATION
For patients with heightened dental anxiety, Dr. David can prescribe a single, gentle anxiolytic dose to take before your appointment. This is not considered full oral sedation but does significantly reduce anxiety and restlessness. With this option:
You remain awake and responsive
You feel calm and relaxed throughout treatment
A driver is required to and from your appointment
This approach works well for patients who need something to “take the edge off.”
IV SEDATION
AVAILABLE BY REQUEST
For patients needing deeper relaxation during more advanced procedures, such as extractions, bone grafting, or implant placement, we have the ability to bring a licensed dental anesthesia provider onsite to administer IV sedation. This option offers:

Little to no memory of the procedure

Because this service is arranged on an as-needed basis, it allows patients to receive advanced treatment right here in our office without referral to an outside surgical center.
