MEET DR. DAVID BARANOWSKI
Your Partner in Oral Health
Dr. David Baranowski, affectionately known as Dr. David, was born in Dayton, Ohio, and spent most of his childhood in Charlotte, North Carolina. His journey into dentistry began at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a degree in Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in Chemistry. He continued his education at the UNC School of Dentistry, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree.
Driven by a deep commitment to service and clinical excellence, Dr. David began his career caring for our nation’s deserving veterans at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center. During his Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency, he gained hands-on experience in advanced dental procedures and developed a strong foundation in comprehensive care.
Over the past decade, Dr. David has continued to grow his clinical expertise, earning a Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) after completing the Dental Implant Continuum at the Stanley Institute for Comprehensive Dentistry. He is passionate about the transformative power of dental implants and the confidence they can restore for patients needing tooth replacement.
At Central Carolina Dentistry, Dr. David is proud to offer a full range of dental services—from restoring a single tooth to crafting custom dentures. He takes the time to get to know each patient, understanding their goals and concerns to create personalized treatment plans that support long-term oral health.

Dr. Baranowski is an active member of the North Carolina Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the ICOI, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He regularly participates in continuing education to stay at the forefront of dental advancements.
Outside the office, Dr. David enjoys spending time with his wife Allison and their two children, who are the heart of his world. He’s also an avid grill master, fly-fisherman, and a loyal fan of the Tar Heels and Carolina Panthers—he definitely bleeds Carolina blue!
